As professional facilitators and coaches we believe that we should challenge ourselves by aspiring to codes of conduct which provide ethical frameworks to guide our practice. For facilitation this is provided by the International Association of Facilitators, (www.iaf-world.org) and for Coaching, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (www.emccouncil.org)
How do we work?
• Engage with clients through collaborative approaches to identify their distinctive capabilities
• Focus on client strengths as stepping stones to innovation
• Appreciate prior learning experiences and develop new capabilities to apply in their particular context
• Broker partnerships to encourage the creation and ownership of new ideas

The EMCC Code
The coach/mentor will acknowledge the dignity of all humanity. They will conduct themselves in a way which respects diversity and promotes equal opportunities.
It is the primary responsibility of the coach/mentor to provide the best possible service to the client and to act in such a way as to cause no harm to any client or sponsor.
The coach/mentor is committed to functioning from a position of dignity, autonomy and personal responsibility.
